THE PERSISTENCE OF POVERTY AMONG BLACKS

Poverty is a symbolic issue,but it is also  matter of counting. The govermet knows who is poor and who is not? Femaleheaded  households, blacks and children are likely to live in poverty,so they say.there definition of poverty was a family of four living on a income of ten thousand or less.This does not include programs such as foodstamps and medicare this programs our in relationship to poverty. we must break this cycle the goverment will not change their definition of poverty. we must gat of there category. .W.M.W
